Rankin proves it's not a cliche

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the creation of Rebus, the Caledonian Brewery (brewer of Rebus's favour beer Deuchars IPA) will be launching a new beer called 'Rebus 20' in August to be available commercially nationwide.
In a flurry of 'arduous research' that took two days, Ian Rankin has also chosen a favourite whisky to be made by the Highland Park distillery under the title Rebus 20 - but at 52% proof it's not for the faint-hearted.
