Faith Vicinanza has been teaching poetry and creative writing for more than a decade, including as part of the partnership Creative Beginnings with Joan Gleckler. She has been a visiting artist for Poetry Live, BOCES (New York), The Greater Hartford Arts Council, and The CT Commission on the Arts. She has been the director of Hanover Press for 11 years and was the recipient of The CT Commission on the Arts’ 2003 Advocacy for the Arts Award. Her latest collection of poetry, Faith Vicinanza’s Greatest hits 1994 – 2004, was published by Pudding House Press in 2005. Her poems have most recently appeared in The Paterson Literary Review, The Connecticut River Review, Shijin: Book 1, and Rogues Scholar. She is at work on her next collection of poems.
Joan Gleckler writes fiction and screenplays. Her first novel, Driving Lessons, was published in 2005 and she’s currently at work on her second novel, Wish List. Her short stories have appeared in I Love My Job!, The Underwood Review, and Lighthouse . She has been teaching writing with Faith Vicinanza, as Creative Beginnings, for over four years. An avid videographer, she has produced several short films and enjoys creating “tribute” videos for her loved ones. She grew up in South Texas where she wrote bad high-school poetry and moved to Connecticut in 1986.

I'll have to send this link to my wife. She loves writing. Though, she is more interested in childrens books and teen novels than poetry or more adult oriented material. :)
