Young Voices; Will Travel With Help

Mark your calendars for SUNDAY, APRIL 29th and help change lives.

ONE Word / CT Youth Poetry is hosting an Art & Poetry open house event from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Buttonwood Tree in Middletown, CT.

This fundraising event will help sponsor the CT Youth Poetry Team's participation in Brave New Voices held in San Jose, CA. Many of you have wanted to help us in the past, NOW is your chance to be part of an amazing movement of young people, whose voices must be heard. There will be many items for sale, all handmade or designed by members of our very talented team. Some items for sale include:


--paintings

--photography

--knitted bags/hand-sewn items

--photo/haiku cards

--custom designed scarves &jewelry

--monogrammed tote bags

--1 week pass to YPI, a summer arts camp in CT (value $900)

--And many services (dog washing, tattoo design, kayak eco-tours, personal training, babysitting)



Stop by for some food and drink and of course, POETRY!
