Faith Vicinanza is an Information Technologies/I.T. Management consultant by day and poet and photographer. She has three books of poetry published and is currently working on a fourth for publication in 2008 as well as a memoir based around the three months spent on the road in 2005. Ms. Vicinanza's poetry is widely published; she was one of 16 state poets to be nominated for the position of Poet Laureate of the State of Connecticut in 2001; and she is the recipient of the Connecticut Commission on the Arts Advocates for the Arts Award in March of 2003. Her photography has been published in several journals and has been displayed in coffee houses and college campuses throughout Connecticut as well as part of several juried exhibits.
Peter Vicinanza is a retired Information Technologies executive and entrepreneur. Mr. Vicinanza has a number of his flash fiction and poetry vignettes about growing up in old New York City published and forthcoming, most recently in Bent Pin Quarterly and Connecticut Review. His photography has been on exhibit in coffee houses and college campuses throughout Connecticut, and several juried shows. He is currently working on two memoirs, one based on his life as it has centered around cars including his experiences as a race car and rally driver.
Please join Faith and Peter for their only solo artists' show this year due to family priorities. Forty-five of their finest pieces will be on display at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library.
