The town council has approved a tax abatement for a local camera repair company that has plans to expand its facilities.
Precision Camera and Video Repair Inc. plans to build a 9,360-square-foot building at 7 Anngina Drive to house its shipping and finishing departments. The company moved to Enfield in 2003 with 45 employees and now has more than 575 employees in four buildings in town, officials said.
Town Manager Matthew W. Coppler said the town has granted a handful of abatements and Precision Camera represents the kind of business that officials feel is appropriate for the program.
