The real problem w/politics, is generally one set of "insiders" is merely replaced with another set of
"insiders". While folks are
relieved that Mayor C.P. decided not to run again, many of his buddies are running in Nov.
So unless one is very careful with their vote, its likely a new
crop of "insiders" will rule Enfield. The faces may change, but the "behind-closed-door"
antics could continue unless the State comes down hard.
The list of insiders is shrinking and if you ask, someone might tell you who they are and who they aren't. Take a guess and share with the rest of us.
WELL AFTER A WELL DESERVED MONTH'S LONG HIATUS, THE TOWN OF ENFIELD COMMISSIONS RETURN WITH A BANG THIS WEEK! THE CITIZENS ARE THE ONES WHO DESERVED THE HIATUS FROM THE YEAR'S LONG SHENANIGANS.
BUT WHAT'S IN STORE FOR THIS SEASON?? WILL TONY "THE PROPHET" DIPACE BE ABLE TO GET HIS GRIP BACK ON THE UEB MEMBER SO THAT HE CAN WORK HIS MAGIC? WHAT HAS ANTHONY FROM SOUTH BOSTON BEEN UP TO OVER THE PAST MONTH? HAS HE BEEN ABLE TO RECONSOLIDATE HIS POWER? OR HAVE THE RUBBER STAMPS ON THE COMMISSION BEEN SHAKEN UP BY REPORTS OF "INVESTIGATIONS AND GRAND JURYS"?
WELL, IT ALL BEGINS AGAIN THIS WEEK. SO DON'T FORGET TO TUNE IN!!
I too have been gone from scene (well deserved vaca), so was quite annoyed this a.m. when I travelled Weymouth Rd to see that after almost a month's work, the road and sidewalks are still unfinished (and school started today).
If the Town of Enfield was run like a business, it would either be bankrupt, or the officials would have been fired ages ago.
Its unbelievable that it would
take a Town almost a month to repave 1/2 mile section of road, or re-do the sidewalks along the side of the school. How embarrasing.

If anyone's got "a list" of Enfield insiders, please feel free to share this info here, so that Enfield voters can see ahead of time who NOT to vote for in Nov.
