First Poetry Open Mike &Youth Slam at Buttonwood for 2007/8 season

Be there for the first youth slam and all ages open mic of the 2007/2008 season. Sign-up starts at 6:30pm. Event starts at 7:00pm. The event is free; donations are accepted.

The evening begins with an all-ages spoken word open mike, followed by a youth poetry slam. All poets 21 and younger are invited to participate in the slam. Our goal is to promote literacy and the power of written and spoken word.

We need poets! We need judges! We need applause!
