Guess It All Depends On Who Your Neighbor Is ...

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Paving Job Discussion Continues":

And here some of these very same MCarmel members were the same people giving the Felician Sisters a hard time over their school parking lot. Shame, shame.
Talk about BS. Where was Wayne the Pain when MCarmel was increasing the size of their parking lot?
Guess it all depends on who your neighbor is, in Enfield?

MtCarmel is old news. Enfielders are most concerned now over some of their self-rightous BOE members drinking bottled water that is charged to BOE acct. And that the Enfield high schools are holding their graduations in a Bloomfield church. so much for 1st amendment rights and the separation between church and state.

yeah, saw that piece last night in JI about some Enfield BOE members drinking a case of bottled water at their meetings. charged to BOE acct.

these are some of the same members who preach about fiscal responsibility. one is even running for 58th district seat against Cocoa's sister. talk about a double standard. they claim to be saving money, but they can't drink tap water.

Bottled Water? Who cares. Agree or disagree with the philosophies of the board, its volunteer and I for one have no problem with the bottled water.

I do have a problem with a board member with a financial background preaching about fiscal responsibility, accounting for all the money, and audit committees yet a public notice of forclosure is posted on her house. How can anyone manage 70 million but not their own financial affairs.

How about some fresh new candidates for a change. Recycling is for papers and plastics, not for those who run our government.

mtcarmel is not old news. since it just came out someone should be spanked. according to those at town hall in the know, town staff, a former councilman, and even a former planning/zoning guy should be asked some questions. time to make it right.

how embarassing. one would hope that officaals would be in control of their own affairs before getting their hands on town dollars and making decisions that impact everyone.
