Stephen Brookes of the Jen Allen Big Band is the Band Director at Bristol Eastern High School in Bristol, Connecticut. He has been playing and teaching in this state for 16 years, since attending the University of Connecticut. For six years, he taught at Litchfield High School before moving to Bristol. He freelances on saxophone and teaches private lessons in addition to his public school schedule.
The Jen Allen Big Band will provide reception entertainment for the 12th Annual Connecticut Young Writers Celebration May 31 at the Mark Twain House & Museum. Catering by Frank Rosa's La Cupola Ristorante.
