GOP candidates for Senate to Speak
LITCHFIELD -- The three Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Sen. Christopher J. Dodd, D-Cponn., have agreed to discuss their candidacies and take questions during meetings of the Litchfield-Morris Rotary Club this spring.
Linda McMahon and Rob Simmons will both address the Rotary Club on April 15. Peter Schiff will appear May 6. Their party convention will choose the nominee later that month.
The Rotary Club will meet promptly at noon at the Litchfield Inn on both dates. Cost is $20, cash or check to Litchfield-Morris Rotary. Rotary members may invite guests, and must make reservations by April 9. For information or reservations, e-mail tntcomm82@cs.com or call 860-690-0211.
