Dem Guv Candidate Malloy @ Litchfield-Morris Rotary Thursday, June 17

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Malloy will be the guest speaker Thursday [June 17] for the Litchfield-Morris Rotary luncheon at Frank Rosa's La Cupola Ristorante, http://lacupola.tripod.com/ 637 Bantam Road, Litchfield.

The meeting begins at noon sharp. Malloy will speak and take questions from 12:15 - 12:45 p.m. Before the meeting, he will be available to meet with guests and the press.


Katie Weiser, a music major at Smith College and a graduate of Litchfield High School, will sing the National Anthem.

Malloy will be introduced by Jordan Fenster, editor of The Register Citizen.

The Litchfield-Morris Rotary recently hosted Republican U.S. Senate candidates Linda McMahon, Rob Simmons and Peter Schiff.

State Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, the Democratic U.S. Senate candidate, is scheduled to appear July 15 at the Litchfield Inn.
