    From New Haven:

    1. Take I-95 to Exit 72, which is the exit for Rocky Neck State Park. As you exit the highway, you will be on a connector road that heads south for about ¾ mile, and you will then reach a traffic light at the intersection of Route 156.

    2. At the traffic light, turn left onto Route 156 (East). In about 3/10 of a mile you will see the Lyme Tavern Café on your left. Immediately after the tavern, turn left onto North Bridebrook Road (there is a blue sign there for the prison).

    3. Once on North Bridebrook, proceed 2/10 of a mile to a stop sign. Turn right at that stop sign and continue 7/10 of a mile to the prison entrance. You will know you have reached the entrance because there is a large blue sign. The actual street address of the prison is 131 North Bridebrook Road.

      From New London:
    1. Take I-95 to Exit 72, which is the exit for Rocky Neck State Park. Once off the highway, head south toward Rocky Neck State Park, and then follow the directions above.

      From Hartford:
    1. Take I-91 south to exit 22 south (Route 9). Stay on Route 9 until you reach exit 1, which is the exit for I-95 north. Bear left, staying on I-95 north until you reach exit 72, which is the exit for Rocky Neck State Park.

    Board of Pardons and Parole Clemency Hearing 10/9/2013

    For the Board of Pardons and Parole’s clemency hearing scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2013 beginning at 9:00 am at the Gates Correctional Institution, it is not necessary to submit any clearance information to the Department of Correction. Cell phones, cameras and other recording devices will be authorized for this hearing. All visitors will be required to successfully pass through the metal detector or other detection system to gain access to the correctional facility.
