NEW BRITAIN
Two men are considering legal action after they say they were told to leave a high school basketball game in New Britain for not standing up during the National Anthem.
Jeffrey Green and Aaron Johnson say they were confronted last week during a basketball tournament game between Bloomfield and Old Saybrook.
The men say Lenny Corto, New Britain's athletic director, asked them to leave the game. The men says their lawyer has told them that kicking them out is a violation of their free speech rights.
Police were called to the scene and the men eventually left with their wives. The men say they got a refund of their money for the game.
