NEW HAVEN -- Lewis Mills High School Principal Karissa Niehoff and retired Region 10 Superintendent Paula Schwartz stand accused of perpetrating a fraud upon U.S. District Judge Mark Kravitz by making false statements under oath.
A hearing will be held on the case at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 in Courtroom Four, 141 Church St.
The allegations are detailed in a court filing dated Aug. 20, 2008. The documents were filed by attorney Jon Schoenhorn, representing Avery Doninger in the Famous Douche Bag case, aka Doninger v. Niehoff and Schwartz. The case number is 3:07-cv-1129.
The evidence against Niehoff and Schwartz is so overwhelming that Kravitz will find if difficult, if not impossible to ignore. Certainly Kravitz cannot turn a blind eye to this evidence, or try to make excuses for Niehoff and Schwartz, if he hopes to rise to a higher court.
