I think UConn is going to have to deal with academic fraud issues in the future, but UConn's biggest problem right now is that booster/agent. If Rip Hamilton goes through with pressing charges against Nochimson and/or goes with a civil suit against him, lawyers are going to be involved which means discovery, court orders and subpoenas are going to compel the revelation of a lot of information that UConn probably wants kept secret, not to mention the potential of sworn testimony if anything goes to trial. The NCAA will be all over any case that is filed.
The Cool Justice Report exposes wrongdoing in the politically-charged worlds of cops and courts. It runs compelling stories of general interest and boxing, literary and political items, as well as selected poems and pieces of fiction. email: tntcomm82@cs.com -- Twitter@cooljustice -- A 2nd collection of columns, 'more COOL JUSTICE,' http://morecooljustice.com/ followed 'Law & Justice in Everyday Life.'
