Freelancer's arrest causes stir in Connecticut

SPJ is looking into the arrest of a Hartford freelance journalist. Ken Krayeske was taking pictures at the governor's inaugural when he was arrested, supposedly for being a political activist. Krayeske is a Green Party activist and worked on behalf of the governor's opponent. Ethics concerns aside, the principle still stands: People should not be arrested for taking pictures of a public politcal event. The Hartford Courant has extensive coverage about the fuss in the state capitol.
